Hi, i’m Anja …
Anja is a graduate of the Ba(Hons) Costume for Theatre and Screen course at Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL and has also earned a certificate in Bespoke Tailoring at Level 5 from The Tailoring Academy, Macclesfield.

Anja enjoys bringing history and stories to life through clothing, with a preference for overlooked eras of fashion; she achieves this with a vigorous attention to detail and enthusiasm for deep research. This dedication was rewarded when Anja won the 2021 UK Costume Society's 'Patterns of Fashion' award for her recreation of a c.1830-6 silk dress. During her time at university, Anja worked on multiple short-film productions and began to find her place in costume workrooms, at the same time holding the elected position of Student Representative for the whole 3-year duration of the course. Her commitment to excellence and improvement has seen her grow in confidence, from working in costume ateliers that supply the West End theatres, operas and ballets, touring musicals and cruise-ship productions, towards projects for TV and Film such as for Netflix, Marvel and Universal Pictures.
